How did many insects, only found in the Amazon rain forest, travel all the way there from Ararat?

Even if the continents were connected somehow, they would still have to travel very far. I would really like to know how things like earthworms did this. Also, if they traveled there for better habitat, why wouldn't they just go to the rain forests in Africa? They're much closer to Ararat than the Amazon is.How did many insects, only found in the Amazon rain forest, travel all the way there from Ararat?EasilyHow did many insects, only found in the Amazon rain forest, travel all the way there from Ararat?
Who's to say that those insects lived in those areas back then? This was all before different climates led to speciation and specialization as animals adapted to their new environments. There were no animals who could only live in a South American rain forest, because the entire world was a similar climate, so there was nothing to adapt to. It was later on, when you had your frozen tundras, your rain forests, and your deserts that animals began to split into different species as their gene pools became specialized to their respective environments, leading to the many species we see today. How did many insects, only found in the Amazon rain forest, travel all the way there from Ararat? As far as I know, there are no records of aerial dispersal of insects from the New World to the Old World. However, around 1987 swarms of migratory locusts reached the Caribbean after being swept up in storms in North Africa. Too bad for Noah.
