Any ideas on how to travel with pills that need to be refrigerated?

Im traveling to Bolivia tomorrow and Im trying to figure out how I can take some pills I have for infections I get.

How could I travel with them? I thought I could get a icepack but what could I put it in? Any ideas? I really need my pills to prevent a reoccuring infection and I cant count on them having these pills in Bolivia... I doubt they have them

THanks in advanceAny ideas on how to travel with pills that need to be refrigerated?Alright, buy a lunch box and stuff it with ice and put the pills in a bad full of ice,

It should be safe.Any ideas on how to travel with pills that need to be refrigerated?I would say get a lunch bag and put the ice packs in it like you said and put it in your carry on luggage or in your regular bag! Good luckAny ideas on how to travel with pills that need to be refrigerated?if your talking about flying get some frozen vegies to put in a insulated lunch box. Get an ice pack, the best kind would be the one with a bunch of cubes, but anything wear each container is smaller than 3.4 oz / 100ml so that it can be screened more easily. Any reasonable amount of medication may be taken onboard, and ice packs may be brought if medication requires it. Also you can get ice on the other side from most vendors. if you are flying TAKE you medication with you, DO NOT put it in checked baggage.

Why not put medication in checked baggage

since 9/11 they baggage handlers have suffered a huge pay cut. This means that they have lost some good honest workers. When your not getting paid well you might take advantage of your position and grab a few things. They still have honest hard working guys, but it only take one bad one.

Checked bags get lost

checked bags are exposed to extreme cold, and heat.

Airlines prefer not to pull your bag back out, because they have find your bag, then get it rescreened.

If you need your medication on the flight you cannot get to it.

If it was over the counter stuff, and you need it less than once a day you can leave it in checked baggage, and don't have to worry about weather or not its a liquid in checked baggage.
