Specifically that light may travel on some type of trace or track through space that only light can travel on. Different types of light traveling on different types of tracks accordingly. Traces or tracks simply being a special condition in space only because light is traveling. Hope that makes sense. The only difference is that light travels at the speed of light and ordinary objects travel slower.
