What is the best way to search for a job which involves travel?

Im currently an accountant for a large company and most days consist of balancing not falling asleep and updating spreadsheets/databases. I would like to move into a financial analyst role that would involve some travel, as I feel this would add an interesting dimension to my career. The problem Im having is with the major job search websites, non of which seem to offer much info regarding travel involved with the postings. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find this information, or even a specific company to look into? Anything helps! What is the best way to search for a job which involves travel? Can you search for the top-ranking companies that mostly offers financial analyst service?

If you can find that, then I would call or e-mail the human resource department of that company as a prospective employee and ask them how much travel is involved. If they can't answer that question, at least you can get the next step from them.

I would think that looking into bigger companies is better, since small, local companies probably have their market in that specific community.

One more thing I can suggest is to join a social networking service like myspace or facebook or any other professional SNS (you can look for these on google) and join a group of financial analyst and ask those people who do that for business or is their profession. Nothing is better than those inputs from the people who are already working in that field!

Just like you can get so many answers to your question from this YA site, I'm sure someone out there would probably be a help to you.

Good luck! What is the best way to search for a job which involves travel?Drive around looking for that job.
