What are the best books and/or websites that pertain to travel to ireland?

I want to travel to Ireland this summer and I have no idea where to begin to research flights, hotels, places of interest etc. I understand that certain people have a knack for traveling and saving money in the process... I wasn't given that knack :) any suggestions would be awesome. Generally Rough Guides tend to be good on history %26amp; information while Lonely Planet is good for accommodation - if there's more then one of you going, you could invest in both but make sure you get the most up to date version you can, they re-print them with alterations every couple of years.



Lonely Planet %26amp; Rough Guide also have their websites with forums where you can ask questions of other travellers.

What are the best books and/or websites that pertain to travel to ireland?I found the DK Eyewitness Guides to be excellent for all the countries I've visited, so they should be good for Ireland also.



Flights: AerLingus and Ryanair.



Hotels: Try www.hostelworld.com - it includes all types of accommodation.

I swear by Rick Steve's books for all European travel, especially how to travel economically. His 2009 Ireland book is on sale now on his website cited below for $13.95. He or someone on his staff actually go to the places in his books and update them often. Also his website, www.ricksteves.com, has good information for most European destinations and a great message board, the Graffiti Wall, where you can search for more info on Ireland from other travelers.
