I have worked with both companies in the past and have since decided to continue with GTI. YTB is also a good company but last year they lost their IATAN and IATA status meaning they were no longer recognized by two of the largest governing bodies of the travel industry. Also from my research, GTI has better pricing and vacation packages. It seems that they work with more of the supplier and give you more choices compared to YTB which seems to be limited to only a few air and cruise companies. This Christmas I booked a trip with GTI for 7 of us to go on a family cruise. We had a great time on the Carnival Cruise and I traveled for free since my commission or cash back from booking the other trips was greater than the cost of my ticket. I've always had great experiences whenever working with GTI and would recommend them to anyone who is motivated to become a travel agent.

but one piece of advice i would give u is to take two competing travelling agencies and call one of them and ask for their price and then call the other and tell them the price company "x" gave u they'll autimatically give u a better price and u call company "x " again and tell them the price company "y" gave u and so on

Connecting flights will probably be the easiest way. I have gone via Marseilles in France no problems at all. That was when all direct flights where full, and it was pretty straight forward. Marseille a small airport and was very quiet when I was there, had drink a read of a paper and we where off again.

Katrina flooded about 80% of New Orleans with salt water, and the water stayed for almost a month. Much of the city is still struggling to recover and all you have to do to see devastation is drive around. It will take years for NOLA to fully recover from Katrina.



However, the parts of the city that tourists usually visit were not flooded. It's not a coincidence - the French Quarter and other old parts of the city were built on relatively high ground and only suffered wind damage from Katrina. Almost all of the damage has been repaired and you have to look closely in the FQ and city center to see that Katrina happened at all. You should visit and see for yourself.



You can drink the water, the electricity %26amp; phones work, and services like the post office, hospitals, schools, police/fire/EMS, and stores %26amp; shopping centers are operating.

Regarding crime, use the same common sense you need in every major city in the world and there is little chance you will be a victim of anything except a need to visit the gym: Pay attention to your surroundings. Stay away from anywhere dark %26amp; deserted. Pay attention to your feelings - if anyone or anywhere gives you a bad feeling, leave the area. New Orleans has mild weather from October to May and the city stays green all year most years (rarely freezes and almost never snows). All of the famous restaurants (Antoine's, Arnaud's, Commander's Palace, etc.) have reopened. Reservations are a good idea, and probably essential on weekends.



Cafe Degas is a very French restaurant near City Park at 3127 Esplanade - which is not within walking distance of downtown (5 to 10 minutes by taxi). They are closed on Mondays %26amp; Tuesdays (504-945-5635).

The first route is Chennai - Chengalpet - Tindivanam - Pondicherry - Cuddalore - Bhuvanagiri - Chidambaram which should be 230 Kms or less since the distance is from the airport and not from the 0 Point of Chennai. The other route is Tiruvanmiyur(Chennai) - Mahabalipuram - Marakanam - Pondicherry - Cuddalore - Bhuvanagiri - Chidambaram . Since you are arriving at the airport , It is better to travel by the first route which would be the shortest since the airport is enroute to Chengalpet. You can travel by Private buses like Rathimeena (K.P.N) which is quite safe or hire a taxi. The train service to Chidambaram is currently suspended due to guage conversion work otherwise the option would be to take a train to chidambaram from tambaram which is the nearest rail head. The government run SETC buses also ply to Chidambaram. My suggestion would be to either take a taxi or Rathi meena (KPN) bus to chidambaram . You can book a ticket on Rathimeena's(KPN) website : http://www.rathimeena.co.in and the site lists the nearest boarding point .Please be sure as to which boarding point you select. Rathimeena is quite safe. Cross the road walk southward all the way till you hit the nearest overhead bridge located behind Carpark near blk 1,2 and 3 Marine Terrace. The overhead bridge leads you to Rain tree Cove and you are there. For other places in East Coast, same method also applies, only alighting at different bus stops.



4.West Coast - Take 151 at outside Coronation Plaza and alight at Kent Ridge Terminal. Walk towards Clementi Road and walk on Clementi Road towards Pasir Panjang Road / West Coast Road direction all the way till you hit West Coast. For sentosa, take 66 or 170, alight at Newton MRT. At newton, take mrt to outram park, tranfer to NEL(northeast line MRT), jus follow the signs in purple color, den take NEL towards harborfront diection, one station away only! from there make ur way to sentosa by monorail or walk.

The MTR is open till around 1 am every day, give or take.
