What's the cheapest way to travel from Hermosa Beach to Hollywood?

I need to check out of one hostel and be at the next one (USA Hostels Hollywood) that evening. Any tips on the cheapest way to travel? How long could I expect the trip to take?

The route that the other person gives you is correct, but 3 buses? Or one bus and 3 trains? Man ... that's going to be crazy! And if you have luggage? I ride the 232 a lot and it is almost always standing room only.



Maybe you should try one of the shuttles and just get a price from them. To pick you up at your door and drop you off at your door and deal with your luggage, it might be worth the extra cost.
