There are restrictions on times of year this cannot be done because of temperature. Call different airlines and find out how much it will be. If the dog is large you may be charged more. You will need a hard plastic kennel for the dog to fly in, and there are rules about when the last time the dog can have been fed and watered, as well as vet documentation. You will need three health certificates that show the address the dog is traveling to. Some vets charge for this.



I am thinking all together you will spent about $900 to fly your dog for round trip air fare, the kennel, vet records, and other expenses. If you can drive instead or have your dog be in doggie daycare near your home while you are gone that would be better. The Pet Hotel at Petsmart is about $30-45 a day.
