i'm planning a trip through the bob marshall wilderness. Assuming we ride for 8 hours/day over rough terrain, how many miles can we expect to travel per day.How many miles per day can you travel on horseback in the mountains?at least 20 miles.
Humans going 4 mph for 5 hours get 20 miles, and thats kinda fast pace hiking, (makes it fun), so on a horse u should cover 20 miles easy in 8 hours
