There really is no public transportation between Galveston %26amp; Houston. Even though Amtrak lists a Houston Station as well as a Galveston Station, trying to find service always comes up as an error. The only other option I could find was Greyhound. It would cost you about $50 and then you could utilize Houston's Metro Buses to travel on to the Galleria. Just kinda depends on how much time you want to spend traveling and how flexible your schedule is. I have not tried the shuttle from Galleria to the Outlets so hopefully someone else can answer that for you. Bus, which really don't run down there. I would say a rental car is cheaper than any other way and allows you to have unlimited mileage. Houston %26amp; Galveston are just not set up for alt. transportation to see it all or even a lot of it.
