Which place should i start my travel from?I am in australia and want to travel to malaysia where do i start my journey from?Hi,

I will suggest you start from Kuala Lumpur. Reason?

1. You can plan everything from the iternerary to accommodation to other part of this country.

2. Kuala Lumpur is the international gateway to MalaysiaI am in australia and want to travel to malaysia where do i start my journey from?

there are good no. of resort beaches such as langaki. You might visit its city, Kuala lumpur or even also town such as Melaka is nice too but its rather small and about 3 hours to the south of KL. i would suggest you visit Penang Island instead for say 5 to 7 days. i been there, and its really a great place for me, tourist attraction. u might wish to divide each day to visit 2 locations but the main problem is transport. that would take a toll. enjoy and remember to plan your vacation and research the net :) for myself i prefer to visit a tourist attraction and then spend an hour at the nearby area.I am in australia and want to travel to malaysia where do i start my journey from?
Travel agent. know where you are going and staying, then go online and research the Hotel, some have interactive scenes, check for safety as well, important to know local customs, some see shaking of hands as impolite, some rubbing kids heads in jest is impolite, most importantly have fun, and make sure you have your bags sealed
Australia.
it really depends on what sort of holiday you are after, i was there last year and flew into sabah (kota kinabalu) it was fantastic, from there you can fly very easily and cheaply to other areas in sabah even for day trips. You can visit the orangatans which is amazing, its quite outdoorsy and you can really make ot if whatever you like. from there we flew into KL and spent 4 days siteseeing/shopping/eating - it was a fantastic holiday and would definitly go back!
Darwin, then get yourself to Denpasar airport, Bali.

As long as you have a visa you can get VERY cheap flights from Denpasar to (almost)anywhere in the world.

There are so many connecting flights on the various, notoriously unreliable, Indonesian airlines that are running late coming into Denpasar that they have a special desk in the arrivals/departures area where they just hold up BUNCHES of tickets every few minutes and CALL OUT the destination and some ridiculously low price. You just wait for them to call out tickets to your preferred destination and put your hand up.

I flew from Bali to Amsterdam for 230 bucks!

A flight to KL should be around $60 and you could book it from your computer if you prefer to play it safe.
my sister flew mayalsia airlines from melbourne to KL and she said it was awesome! she said they were so friendly and had good entertainment, they are one of the top 5 airlines in the world with a 5 star rating but it might cost as it is one of the top 5 depends how much you would like to spend
