How do you make a home made travel cup?

Does anyone have any idea what materials could be used to make a travel cup? Something simple without involving fire or a kiln.How do you make a home made travel cup?A home made travel mug without the fire %26amp; kiln, I guess you could use a lathe to create one from a block of wood, or just widdle the hours away. A guess one could be made with duct tape. that would be cool. Maybe an old putty container would work. a tube of silicone could be used just form the bead and let dry. But really why not just buy one.
